CASE 1
Maintain quality by using staclean (dust-free paper) as the label base material
Industry: Electronic parts manufacturer
assignment
The management labels and inventory labels used in the clean room were made of plain paper. This was pointed out to us during an audit by a business partner, and we were asked to make improvements, but we did not know how to go about making improvements, so we consulted with Sakurai Co., Ltd.
Products suggested by Sakurai

Staclin Tack PW((strong adhesive) Bespoke processing

Pre-printing/imposition slit processing
First, we checked the printer model and label size that the customer was using, and suggested that they switch from plain paper to dust-free labels.
Regarding the size, we received a request for an A4 size with 10 slits. Regarding slitting, we have dozens of types of face-on blade molds in stock, so we made a proposal that would reduce the cost of creating a new blade mold.
Additionally, since the customer had already printed the labels for use, we suggested pre-printing the product in advance, which the customer adopted.
Effects after implementation
By improving the points pointed out during the audit, we were able to improve quality. We are satisfied with the ability to keep initial costs down and continue operations as usual.

CASE 2
Solving issues with base materials tailored to label printers
Industry: Semiconductor manufacturer
assignment
We decided to consider installing a label printer that can print barcodes. I also had to look for a label that could be taken into the clean room, which was a problem because I didn't have the knowledge. We also wanted to process the label to the specified size and pre-print it, so we consulted with Sakurai Co., Ltd.

Staklin Barcode Label
We learned that our customer is considering installing a thermal transfer label printer. Therefore, we have proposed a reasonable model of barcode printer.
We wanted a barcode label that could be taken into a clean room, so we selected a Staclean barcode label, which generates less dust. In addition, we can handle not only paper but also label processing, so we can offer processing and pre-printing to the size you specify.
Effects after implementation
They proposed a label printer and barcode label at the same time, and we were able to build a system that could be operated smoothly. I am satisfied because the label size was processed according to my request.

CASE 3
Achieving label cost reduction
Industry: LCD manufacturer
assignment
Product costs had to be reviewed, including the labels attached to products. The labels we are currently using are PET-based labels, and we wanted to reduce costs with the same performance, so we consulted with Sakurai Co., Ltd.
Products suggested by Sakurai
PET film label
We have proposed a thin PET label that is cheaper than the PET labels currently in use. We have also reviewed the adhesive for PET labels and now offer several types ranging from strong to weak adhesive. We confirmed this with an evaluation sample and made a proposal to ensure that there would be no problem in replacing the current label.
Effects after implementation
In response to our request to reduce costs as much as possible, we were presented with various solutions. This was a great help as it gave me the opportunity to learn that even if the film thickness was made thinner, there would be no problems with existing operations, and we were also able to reduce costs.

CASE 4
Industry: Pharmaceutical manufacturing industry
Solving problems by proposing various label base materials
assignment
I worked in a clean room, from manufacturing chemicals to pasting labels. The label base material is plain paper, and from the perspective of maintaining quality, we have decided to consider switching to dust-free paper. When we started considering it, we weren't sure what kind of label would be suitable, so we consulted with Sakurai Co., Ltd.
Products suggested by Sakurai
Staclin Tack PW (strong adhesive)
First, we explained about the various base materials for labels.
While checking the actual product, we explained that while synthetic paper has strengths such as durability, it has a higher risk of dust generation than it appears, and that dust-free paper can suppress dust generation but is not very strong. Did. In this case, quality maintenance was the most important issue, so we proposed the use of dust-free paper Staclin Tack.
Effects after implementation
Other than changing the base material to sta-clean tack (dust-free paper), the size and printing process are the same as the previous product, so it can be used without any changes to the work content.
By being able to deliver products with greater confidence in quality than ever before, we have built a good relationship of trust with our customers.

CASE 5
Prepare samples early and solve problems quickly
Industry: Industrial chemical manufacturer
assignment
Chemicals were placed in large metal containers, plain paper labels were attached, and the products were shipped. While the customer was storing the product, the label came off, making it impossible to identify the liquid inside, resulting in a complaint that caused confusion at the site.
We needed to solve the problem of peeling labels as soon as possible, so we consulted with other departments, and they introduced us to Sakurai Co., Ltd., where we had purchased labels for clean rooms, and we consulted with them.
Products suggested by Sakurai
Aluminum deposited polyester film (silver namer)
We considered the causes of label peeling and proposed a product that has ``adhesive strength'' and ``durability'' that will not peel off even in environments such as high temperature and high humidity. We selected three types of base materials: aluminum-deposited polyester film, PVC film, and synthetic paper, and samples were immediately created and evaluated.
Effects after implementation
As a result of the evaluation test, we were able to solve the problem by changing the label to a polyester base material coated with aluminum, taking into account cost and operational aspects.
If the display label comes off, it becomes a big problem, such as lot management and product identification becoming impossible. Because they provided us with evaluation samples right away, we were able to quickly respond to any problems, and now we can operate the system with peace of mind.

CASE 6
Contribute to improved yield with non-silicon labels
Industry: Hard disk manufacturer
assignment
In the hard disk industry, manufacturing processes do not allow the use of secondary materials containing silicon in order to increase product yields. The same goes for labels; if they contain silicone ingredients, they can damage the product. Additionally, when peeling off film-based labels, there was a risk that static electricity would occur due to static electricity when peeled off.
We consulted with Sakurai Co., Ltd. to see if there was a label that could solve these problems.
Products suggested by Sakurai
non-silicon label
Regular labels use silicone on the side of the release paper that is removed during pasting. Since the silicone component was an issue in this issue, we proposed a special label with sufficient removability even without the use of silicone. In addition, in order to prevent static electricity generated when peeling off the label, we used Staclin, a dust-free paper that does not easily cause static electricity when peeled off, as the base material.
In addition, many general non-silicone labels have weak adhesive strength, but this time we have made a special order with specifications that have a certain degree of adhesive strength.
Effects after implementation
By changing to non-silicon labels made of dust-free paper, we were able to resolve the two issues of silicon contamination and the risk of static electricity generation.
Since the work process was the same as before, only the labels were changed, the yield was improved without putting any burden on the site, which was a huge help.

CASE 7
Special sizes and printed labels are also available quickly!
Multi-faceted proposals for useful items at factory sites.
Industry: Resin manufacturing industry
assignment
Products were shipped by pasting common plain paper labels onto product cases. The local company I was ordering labels from suddenly went out of business, and I was having trouble deciding who to contact for labels that were of a special size and required printing, and I had previously had a meeting with them regarding a different matter (equipment monitoring system). I remembered that Mr. Sakurai Co., Ltd. had mentioned that they could make separate labels, so I consulted with them.
Products suggested by Sakurai
Plain paper label (specified size, with printing)
Since it was a sudden problem (supplier going out of business), we prioritized arranging the product as soon as possible, so we confirmed the necessary information by phone and email on the same day we received your request, and submitted a quote the next day. Ta. At the same time, we also mailed the actual item to you for confirmation, and the arrangements were completed within a few days of contacting you.
Effects after implementation
Since our label supplier suddenly went out of business, we didn't have time to thoroughly consider and verify things, but they were able to make suggestions and respond to our needs, and were very helpful as we were able to operate without disrupting our business. We are now also consulting on other special labels.
In addition, Sakurai Co., Ltd. has its own various products (environmentally friendly products, heat shielding products) and systems (related to drawing management, predictive maintenance) for factories, so we regularly receive proposals from them. It's a big help.
