What is STACLEAN
cleanroom paper (dust-free paper)
It is paper substrate dust-free paper that can be used in cleanrooms where dust and dirt are impermissible. Unlike films, it can be used for printer output, copying, printing, etc., By making use of the characteristics of paper, it can be applied as labels, thermal paper, etc., while maintaining a high degree of cleanliness.
The History of STACLEAN
In the 1980s, measures to improve the cleanliness of cleanrooms became active in Japan, mainly in the semiconductor industry. Until then, they had avoided bringing in paper as much as possible, and when necessary, it is printed on a film based media or applied lamination on it.
Yet, the dust-free paper STACLEAN was made for our customers who considered paper is still necessary for workability and to those who have difficulties using film based media. Since its launch in 1982, it has been used not only in industrial cleanrooms, but also in the pharmaceutical industry and research & development facilities.

Can I get a sample for free?Base paper samples of each product are basically provided free of charge. Please contact us for initial costs such as printing block copy and molds.

There are STACLEAN and EXCLEAN copier paper. Please tell me the difference.The components of the resin used to prevent dust generation are different. To put it simply, Staclean is of high grade, and EX Clean is of economy grade. The choice is made by the customer by price or usage, but we would be happy to advise you based on our experience.

What is STACLEAN's substrate?Long fiber pulp is impregnated with resin to prevent dust generation. It is classified as a resin-impregnated paper instead of a plastic film.

Is it possible to supply by printing on STACLEAN?Can be processed and supplied at our certified factory.

Can it be recycled as used paper?The STACLEAN RC series can be recycled. Handling may differ depending on the area and paper collection company, so please check with the collection company you use.

Can it be used as interleaving paper for metal products? Will it rust?There are several clean papers with different resin components than STACLEAN, which is neutral (PH value controlled). It is necessary to check compatibility with metal and processed surfaces, but we have many achievements as metal interleaving paper.

I need to autoclave (sterilize) the product before bringing it into the process. Is that possible?We have received reports that the resin melts and the color changes under high temperature and humidity conditions, but it can be used depending on the setting conditions. It is also used in precision medical equipment and cleanrooms in pharmaceutical factories.

Do you have a printer for STACLEAN?We have an exclusive inkjet printers that emit less dust. Select "STACLEAN" in the paper selection on the and you can output from A5 to A3 size.
